TRAVEL CLOTHING

In these days of being more "weight-conscious" with your luggage, lightweight and easy-care are essential qualities in the clothes you travel with.

If you plan to be active outdoors, having good, functional clothing will make your adventure much more comfortable. Learn also about clothes made with Merino wool, an amazing fiber that resists odor retention!

For the Active Vacation / Outdoor Adventure

Packing Light / Quick dry:

• • Light-weight - clothes that weigh less are not only easier to transport (=lighter suitcase) but they are more comfortable when active.
     
  • Quick-Drying - will wick away sweat quickly to keep you cooler and are more likely to be dry the next morning if you wash at the end of the day.

100% cotton is generally NOT your best choice since it dries so slowly. It can also be heavier than other fabrics. Jeans are not only much heavier than hiking pants, but they are very slow drying. Tip: If you want to take a pair of jeans and you're bag is close to it's weight limit, wear them on the plane instead. (The same goes for your heaviest pair of shoes)

Hiking shorts, pants and convertible pants work very well for traveling because they are light-weight, quick-drying & very comfortable.

Merino Wool
